Travelocity's Roaming Gnome Visits Asheville

That's right, you heard correctly. Everybody's favorite official globetrotting garden ornament spent some time in Asheville this month. Travelocity's Roaming Gnome spent four days in our beloved city and had a grand time while here.

Travelocity's Roaming Gnome in AshevilleExactly what does a gnome do during an Asheville vacation? It seems he took full advantage of all that Asheville has to offer. His first stop was the Biltmore to do some sight-seeing and walk the grounds. From there he spent some time exploring the great outdoors, which included some time foraging with Mushroom Man Alan Muskat. A good travel gnome knows how to relax in style. He enjoyed an aromatherapy massage at The Spa at The Omni Grove Park Inn. The Roaming Gnome is no stranger to the arts. He tried his hand at the pottery wheel at The Village Potters in the River Arts District and enjoyed watching the artists while they worked. He also made it a point to sample as much local cuisine as possible and get to as many breweries as he could to sample Asheville's famous craft beers.

The Roaming Gnome had a very full trip. He did a lot in his four days here. If you'd like to read more about his Asheville adventures, visit the Top 7 Gnomiest Things To Do in Asheville.
