Heart Performs in Asheville This Week During the Biltmore Concert Series

Heart Performs at Biltmore EstateWho doesn't recognize hits like "Crazy on You," "Magic Man," "Barracuda," and "Straight On" from the iconic band Heart? They are only a few of the many hits sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson stormed the music charts with in the '70s. These women of rock not only lead the band, but they write the songs and play the instruments, too. This marked their place in music history as the first women in rock to do all three.

As the years continued, so did the hits. Thirty-five years after their first big hit, the Wilson sisters landed back on the Billboard Top 10 in 2010 with Heart's Red Velvet Car album and a Top 5 DVD entitled Night at Sky Church. The hits continued for more than three decades as the band sold 35 million albums along the way, in addition to winning numerous awards and lifetime achievements. In April, Heart was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
