Easter on the Green at Pack Square Park in Downtown Asheville

Asheville always has so much to see and do no matter what your age or interest. This weekend, there's a focus on the kids! Earth Fare presents the third annual Easter on the Green at Pack Square Park this Saturday, March 30 from 2-5p.m. This is a family-friendly, free event which is open to the public.

Easter on the GreenThe kids will love the Easter egg hunts, the 21-foot giant slide, the inflatable obstacle course, and the bounce house for toddlers. The parents will love the healthier, greener approach to Easter. The candies and snacks at Easter on the Green are free of high fructose corn syrup, artificial dyes, and artificial colors. The vendors also join in the cause by selling all natural cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn and ice cream.

With an additional focus on being more green, this year Easter on the Green has Danny's Dumpsters on hand to take care of the recycling and composting. Easter on the Green just keeps getting greenEaster Bunny at Easter on the Greener.

The day wouldn't be complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny. He can be found in the Magic Living Garden. Enjoy a photo op with Mr. Bunny courtesy of Steve Barker and Icon Media. Photos taken that day can be downloaded for free!
