Asheville's Southern Conference Basketball Tournament & Downtown Dribble for the Kids (Free Basketballs & T-Shirts, too!)

It's another wonderful weekend to be in Asheville. It's all about basketball this weekend as the Southern Conference Basketball Tournament returns to Asheville this Friday, March 7 through Monday, March 10. Take the opportunity to watch your favorite SoCon team on the court and immerse yourself in the beauty of our city, as Asheville plays host to the big event. Southern Conference Basketball Tournament Schedule, Tickets & Venues
Men's and women's games are played at the Arena and the Kimmel Arena on the UNCA campus. The general admission price for all sessions is $90, single session tickets are $18 ($22 Sunday-Monday), student tickets with valid ID are $14 ($17 Sunday-Monday), and group tickets are $11 ($13 Sunday-Monday). SoCon VIP ticket options are also available.
Asheville's Downtown Dribble (for Kids Ages 5-12)
In association with the Southern Conference Basketball Tournament, the Asheville Downtown Dribble takes place this Saturday, March 8 at Pack Square in downtown. This dribble parade gives kids ages 5-12 the chance to show their skills as they dribble from the Vance Monument to the U.S. Cellular Center.
The Downtown Dribble is free, but participants must register at Pack Square beginning at 9:45a.m. The parade begins at 10:45a.m. Downtown Dribble participants can also attend Saturday's noon session at either the U.S. Cellular Center or Kimmel Arena free of charge. The kids also get to take home a free basketball and free t-shirt!

During the SoCon Tournament weekend, take advantage of discounted admission tickets to the grand and historic Biltmore Estate, as well as all-day access to the gardens, Antler Hill Village, and the winery. There's free parking, too. For more details, click here.
