16th Annual Black Mountain Arts & Crafts Show in Western North Carolina This Weekend

The show runs Saturday from 10a.m. to 5p.m. and Sunday from 10a.m. to 4p.m. in the middle of historic Black Mountain. The arts and crafts show is free to the public and located on Sutton Avenue next to The Old Depot. There are over 65 juried artists and craftsmen represented at the show. Food and drinks are available at West End Old Depot.

Black Mountain has a rich history in the arts. From the 1930s to the mid 1950s, the town was the home for Black Mountain College, which still claims alumni renown in the arts throughout the world. The town is Black Mountain Arts and Crafts Showbecoming known more and more as a center for arts, crafts, antiques and furniture. Tourists find Black Mountain noteworthy and deserving of a stop during their travels for its unique offerings.
