With ground level entry and all one level living, this wonderful cottage sleeps up to 4 with two beautiful bedrooms and 2 spacious bathrooms. You will love the way this whimsical cottage has been lovingly decorated by the owners with great taste and imagination. Your family dog is welcome here and hardwood and slate floors are featured through-out the cottage. An outdoor fire pit is ready for you to have an old fashioned campfire and roast some marshmallows if you like that sort of thing. Another reason this is the perfect small family vacation spot is that there are no treacherous mountain roads to negotiate. There’s also an enormous, grassy front yard, perfect for games and as a running area for your kids and dogs alike. With a definite feeling of quiet and solitude, you also have the caretakers in the attached apartment to answer your questions. In the distance, the Blue Ridge Mountains rise up and just down the street you have access to a pond for fishing and hiking on to the Mountain to Sea Trail. The Blue Ridge Parkway offers many fantastic opportunities for hiking, look-outs and be sure to visit the Folk Art Center on Parkway just east of Asheville.
